Windows 10 is going out of support on October 14, 2025. Using Windows 10 after the end of support date could expose your systems to increased security risks and limit your access to critical updates and support.
What To Do:
To ensure your systems remain supported:
- Schedule an in-place upgrade. Most devices that support Windows 10 will support Windows 11.
- For older PCs, budget for replacements. LeeShanok recommends PC replacements every five years.
- If you need help, contact your account manager to develop an upgrade plan.
What Happens If I Don’t Upgrade?
Windows 10 will reach its end of support on October 14, 2025, after this date:
- No further security updates, bug fixes, or technical support will be provided for Windows 10.
- Microsoft 365 apps will no longer be supported on Windows 10 devices. Updates and security fixes will no longer be pushed out for Windows 10 installs.
- Some software and hardware may eventually stop working properly or become incompatible with Windows 10.
Support For Office 2016 And 2019 Also Ending
Office 2016 and Office 2019 are also going out of support on October 14, 2025. If you use these products, we recommend upgrading to Microsoft 365 or Office 2024.
